A 7.0 earthquake struck Port au Prince, Haiti last evening (1/12/10). This is a devastating blow to an already impoverished country with little infrastructure for stability. It’s estimated that over 3 million people have already been displaced, and the death toll is in the thousands. Landmines
Due to the nature of our increasingly infinitesimal attention spans and continual desensitization to violence, humanitarian initiatives must exercise some serious marketing savvy. We have to fight hard to get people’s attention and compel them to act.
